The Word of The Lord for 2020

In the days ahead as we enter 2020, pay attention to the Prophets. 2 Chronicles 20:20 is clear when it says,

“…Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

More than 40 years ago, one afternoon as I was praying for the City of New York, the clear voice of the Holy Spirit spoke to my spirit and said. Paul and Silas. I consulted with a young apostle friend of mine about what that meant. After much analysis we concluded that He was saying that an apostolic and prophetic anointing was being placed upon my ministry. Paul was an apostle and Silas was a prophet. This has been confirmed by several senior Prophets and Apostles over the years. Why is this important. I believe it is the responsible thing to do when you speak in the name of the Lord. Words are important. Prophetic Words need to be judged. It is in the voice of two or three witnesses that truth is established. I don’t take this lightly. When you release your faith to get a hold of a Word things can happen to you, not only good but also bad. I want you to be blessed and not cursed.

Here’s what I am hearing in my spirit for 2020.

I am strongly hearing the following gravitational words for 2020. What do I mean by gravitational? I mean these words are going to be dominant. Look for these words to gravitate around your life, events and influence the thinking of this coming year.

1. Favor

2. Mouth

3. Recalibrate

4. Recalculating route

5. 2020 vision

6. Destiny

Favor: I heard the Lord saying that this decade will be known as the Decade of Favor. Remember Joseph in Egypt? 7 years of lack and 7 years of abundance. In this sense His Favor will manifest itself for the next 10 years. Keep this in mind. For His favor to be manifested in your life, you need to be doing something. Get busy in 2020.

Mouth: The Hebrew calendar year for 2020 is “PEH’ which means “mouth.” I already heard, two of our great leaders refer to this. Pay attention to your confession in 2020. Our greatest Prophet, Jesus Christ said:

“So, Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” -Mark 11:22-24

Charles Capp used to say. “I tell people that Jesus said you can have what you say, but they keep saying what they have.” It’s a spiritual law. Activate it daily in your life in 2020.

Recalibrate: Cars, computers, telephones need to be updated regularly. Navigational systems must be recalibrated regularly since they drift off course. We all do. You need to get back on course. Maybe unconsciously you moved off your course and need to get back into the game in 2020.

Recalculating Route: If you have a GPS in your car, you have heard repeatedly; The lady keeps saying “recalculating route” every time you go off the route set. Father God is saying to all of us, “I have not given up on you. Turn back, you missed your turn, but I am still on your side.” Do it in 2020.

2020 Vision: Many of us begin to lose our sight after 45. Get some help. Don’t be stubborn. You need a pair of new glasses so you can see the small letters. Stop trying to get it done by yourself. Get help. Two are better than one. Regain your 2020 vision in 2020.

Destiny: Father God is for you. You have a great destiny ahead of you. He never gave up on you. If the lady on the GPS doesn’t give up, He will never give up on the destiny He set for you before you were born. He is rooting for you. Get back on the race. You are a Winner!
